With a career spanning over two decades, John has built a reputation for excellence in the Metro Detroit construction landscape. His journey began at age 15, mastering the fundamentals of property preservation and painting. This early "boots on the ground" experience instilled in him a foundational truth: a structure's longevity is determined by the integrity of its preparation.
After years of honing his craft across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, and fine cabinetry John transitioned into large-scale management. As a Project Manager for a major real estate investment firm, he successfully oversaw the restoration of hundreds of dilapidated homes across the Detroit area. During this time, he helped pioneer a proprietary scoping and budgeting system designed to mitigate the risks of urban renovation, ensuring complex projects remained viable and high-quality.
Today, as a partner in his own firm, John oversees a rotating portfolio of 4–6 major projects at any given time, leading a workforce of 70–90 tradespeople. While his firm specializes in multi-family and commercial construction, he remains a craftsman at heart, occasionally taking on high-end residential work where ownership vision and execution strongly align.
Beyond the job site, John is a dedicated family man and a community host. Whether he is maintaining his collection of vintage arcade games or hosting summer gatherings in his backyard, his focus remains on building lasting connections. He lives in the Detroit area with his wife and dogs, and is currently preparing for his most important role yet: becoming a father to his first daughter.
Rob Frasier
With a career defined by technical precision and a strategic approach to commercial asset transformation, Rob is a leading construction professional at Oasis Asset Management. Specializing in large-scale renovations and complex restorations, he has built a reputation for converting distressed properties into high-performing commercial assets. His journey began in the logistics of restoration at Emergency Response Services, Inc., where he managed warehouse operations before transitioning into the field. This foundational experience taught him a critical industry truth: while demolition is simple, successful reconstruction requires meticulous, forward-thinking planning.
Rob refined his expertise as a Project Manager at American Restoration, where he navigated the intricate challenges of multi-unit and commercial-scale housing. It was here that he developed his signature management style, utilizing stringent site visits, detailed documentation, and complex Gantt charts to harmonize the work of various trades. His ability to maintain order within the chaos of a construction site was proven during a complete triplex restoration, a project that solidified his belief that transparency and clear timelines are the bedrock of successful project delivery.
Now at the peak of his career with Oasis, Rob manages massive undertakings, such as the total restoration of a 16-unit apartment complex following a major fire. This high-stakes project required him to masterfully coordinate between insurance companies, environmental abatement teams, and property owners. Aaron Wright
With over a decade of experience in regional revitalization, Aaron Wright is the Managing Member of Oasis Construction. His journey began in Metro Detroit, renovating his family home alongside his stepfather. This early exposure to the trade instilled in him a lifelong passion for "fixing" things, a drive that evolved into a professional mission to improve the city and its surrounding areas through high-quality, honest work.
He refined this perspective while working in national property preservation at Flagstar Bank. Reviewing work across the country provided a front-row seat to the industry’s most persistent flaws: a lack of professionalism and a disconnect in quality among high-volume providers. This experience was instrumental in shaping his own standards, convincing him that successful projects require a level of oversight and integrity often missing in the field.
As his career shifted into Detroit’s startup scene, he became a lead on local compliance and city relations. Tasked with securing Certificates of Occupancy, he physically inspected sites, identified where work fell short of code, and built the operational systems necessary to correct those issues. By merging logistical practices with a professional client tone, he proved he could navigate complex municipal processes while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship.
In 2020, he founded Oasis Construction to bring this rigor and "boots on the ground" expertise to the renovation space. Driven by a "no half-measures" philosophy, he leverages his logistical knowledge and local industry connections to tackle increasingly large-scale projects. For him, the work is about the tangible impact of breathing new life into communities through professionalized operations and a partner-oriented approach.
